After spending decades as an award-winning writer for newspapers and magazines, I changed my focus to helping authors shape their manuscripts into compelling stories. I love working with both fiction and nonfiction.

great attention to tone, pacing, and style.

I have been a professional writer since 1982 and have worked as a freelancer in the publishing industry since 1998. My experience includes the evaluation of manuscripts for a literary agency. I have a master of arts degree in English with a concentration in creative writing from Georgia State University.
